Duties and responsibilities:

 

  • Leading interdepartmental alignment meetings and interviews for need assessment
  • Creating tender and evaluation documentations (RfP, RfI, etc.) in cooperation with Business Owner departments, the Indigo level Project Manager and other Indigo airlines
  • Conducting market research on and identifying potential providers
  • Engaging in extensive negotiations with providers
  • Project managing multiple procurement projects in parallel at different size and complexity
  • Compiling financial analysis and building Excel models for proposal evaluation
  • Preparing end product and deliverable (presentation, executive summary materials, etc.) for senior management and Indigo group decision making
  • Leading the service contracting process in cooperation with other departments and airlines
  • Securing the compliance with internal approval procedures
  • Handling executed contracts and ensuring the Company’s contract inventory being up-to-date
  • Maintaining relationship with key, innovative stakeholders in the aviation business to explore new
  • efficient solutions, business opportunities, products with the aim to improve efficiency and foster the business
  • Conducting joint purchasing workshops involving suppliers and airline representatives
  • Explore and define joint purchasing opportunities. Work out frame work of joint purchasing projects, define expected business potential based on airline synergies, ranks such opportunities by assessing investment and return.
  • Aiming to improve and harmonize commonalities of airlines’ fleet and business activities (suppliers, contractual terms, scope of contracts)
  • Building strategic plan to utilize the joint procurement team scale on all across the various business fields
  • Attend and present results and ongoing projects at periodic Joint Purchasing Committee meetings.

 

 

Requirements:

 

  • 4-6+ years working experience, with 3+ years relevant working experience in a multinational environment
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
  • Good MS Office knowledge (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and be able to influence others
  • Strong project management skills
  • Creative and proactive personality with „can do” approach
